“Holy Night” Christmas Bauble Tree Hanger for Scrapiniec

Hello everyone! Although it’s cold, I really love December. The home is always pleasantly warm, it smells of different biscuits, pastries and lavender oil. The family looks forward to the upcoming Christmas holidays and together with the children decorate the tree.
This time I was fascinated by the Scrapiniec Bauble Tree Hanger, and I decided to give it a new look in mixed media.

First, I colored the MDF base and all other chipboards with white gesso. So, when everything was dried, I wrapped a hemp twine around the tree, and also colored with white gesso. For my Christmas tree hanger, I used three different metallic colors: Iris Potion, And at the end I added some Opal Magic Wax. When I was satisfied with the final image of the holiday tree, I attached Scrapiniec chipboard frame and small houses I made from corrugated cardboard. After that, I added other chipboards and flowers painted with metallic colors. For a snowy look, I added artificial snow and white paint splashes.

Thanks for stopping by! See you in a few days with a new inspiration project. Meanwhile, enjoy playing with your holidays projects, Adrijana

“White Christmas” Shabby Chic MDF Ring Bell for Scrapiniec

Hello dear crafty friends. Christmas and New Year are around the corner, so I decided my next blog posts would be festive colored. And here is my new DT project for Scrapiniec. This time I choose Scrapiniec XXL chipboard from MDF - Bell in size 20x20 cm. I wanted a shabby chic look, so I painted the base with white gesso three times. I had a more feminine style on my mind, so this shabby chic is soft, relaxed and romantic. For my Christmas project I used two different paper collections: ScrapAnd Me - White Christmas and Craft O’Clock - Carols in the Snow. I hope you’ll like my interior decor. Have a nice day and see you soon!

Step by Step Photo Tutorial “3D Rocking Chair” for Scrapiniec

Hello my dear crafty friends. Hooooow areeee you? Hhhhmmm...it’s been a while since my last post, but I’m still having health issues. I’ve also moved my “creative world” to a new location and it’s still not yet finished. When I received a new DT package a few weeks ago, I was very excited. Inside the package were new Scrapiniec chipboard collections and I’m fascinated by the 3D models: Rocking ChairBaby Stroller and Baptismal Fount. I decided to play with the Rocking Chair first, because it reminds me of my dear grandpa. I’ve also prepared a step-by-step photo tutorial and I hope it’s helps you. We need: 3D chipboard “Rocking Chair”, scalpel and glue.
